Anyone have some good ideas for party favors at a beach wedding? Its a small wedding. So I would like to keep it simple.
my friend is having a beach wedding, in 10 days.
her favors are small tin pails filled with candy and wrapped in tulle, they tied an organza bow around the top and glued small shells on them
they came out super cute too.
you can even make hand dipped pretzel rods (roll in nuts, jimmie, marshmallows or other goodies) and put them in clear cellophane bags… tie off with ribbon and glue shells on the knot of the bow

I've seen a lot of people give start fish with their names put on them. Or small class vases with sand and shells in them. i've also seen people just give shells out. i've also seen people give out diffrent color fans!

one thing would be the message in a bottle thing roll up a little note to thank everyone for coming to your wedding and put it in a bottle if you could find little bottles just a suggestion

You could have them personalized and hand them out as your guests enter the ceremony so that they're protected all day.
I think guests mostly enjoy favors they'll use again. If you're not too keen on the sunscreen idea, candy or chocolate is always your best bet. I like the suggestion of little sand pales with candies in them:

I vote for the personalized sunscreen. The little pail idea is cute to just dont put anything that will melt in it. You could put the sunscreen in the little pail with some candy along with it.
